Sustainable Development Goals

Discover the 17 global goals and how everyday actions connect to a better future.

What are the SDGs?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 connected goals adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda. They call on countries and communities to work together to reduce poverty, protect the planet and improve people’s lives.

The goals connect everyday concerns—such as going to school, staying healthy and having clean water—to shared action around the world.
